The quickest way to get help is from inside the app: Ayarlar → Geri bildirim opens an email to [email protected] with the app version already filled in. Writing to the same address from anywhere else works too, and every message is read.
The app is in Turkish, so the screens and buttons below are named the way the app shows them.
Where is my data?
On the phone, and only there. There is no account and no copy on RaBalance's servers, which is why backups matter. The privacy policy has the details.
How do I back up?
In Ayarlar, the Son yedek row under Veri & yedek opens the backup screen and says when the last backup was taken.
On an iPhone nothing else needs doing: the app backs up to iCloud by itself whenever the ledger has changed and the app goes to the background. Yedekle on the backup screen takes one right away.
On any phone, Dosyaya aktar on the same screen exports the ledger as a file that can be saved to Files, Google Drive, an email or anywhere else. The file is not encrypted, so keep it somewhere private.
How do I move to a new phone?
From one iPhone to another with the same Apple ID, install RaBalance on the new phone while signed in to iCloud. On first launch the app finds the backup in iCloud and offers to restore it.
On Android, or between an iPhone and an Android phone, export a file on the old phone with Dosyaya aktar, move it to the new one, and open it there with Dosyadan yükle on the backup screen. Setting up a new Android phone from the old phone's device backup can also bring the ledger back.
How do I delete my data?
Verileri sil, under Tehlikeli alan on the backup screen, removes the ledger from the phone, and deleting the app does the same. Backups are separate: an iCloud backup is removed from the phone's iCloud storage settings, and an exported file from wherever it was saved. There is nothing to delete on RaBalance's servers, because the ledger is never there.
Rates are not updating
Rates need an internet connection; everything else works without one. The app shows how fresh its rates are, and Kurları güncelle under Birimler & kurlar in Ayarlar fetches the latest right away. The rates are information only, not a bank's or a jeweller's buying or selling price.
Reminders are not arriving
Check Ayarlar → Bildirimler. Bildirim izni has to be on, and Hatırlatmalar enabled. Reminders are timed to the active hours set on the same screen (Aktif saatler), which are 09:00 to 18:00 unless changed.
Which version do I have?
Ayarlar → Sürüm. It is worth including when writing in, and the feedback email adds it by itself.
Is there an account or a web version?
No. RaBalance is a phone app with no sign-in, and the ledger stays on the phone it was written on.
