Shared ledger · Invitation
Someone has invited you to share a ledger in RaBalance. You need the RaBalance app on this iPhone, and an Apple account to sign in with. Joining is free for the person who is invited.
How to accept
Install RaBalance, then press Open in RaBalance. The join screen opens with the invite already filled in. Give a name, and the app shows six digits. The person who invited you sees the same six digits on their device: if they match, they confirm, and the ledger appears on yours.
If the button does nothing, the app is not installed on this device or the link was opened in a browser that does not hand it over. Press Copy the link, open RaBalance, go to Ayarlar, then Birlikte, then the join row, and paste it there.
What the link sends
The invitation is the part of the address after the #. A browser never sends that part
to a server, so this page, its host and its logs do not see it. It holds a one-time
secret and the inviter's public key, both of which the app uses and nothing else.
Do not post the link in a public place. Until it is used, or expires after a day, anyone who has it can ask to join, although the inviter still has to confirm the six digits before they get anything.
Why the digits
The ledger is end-to-end encrypted: its key is made on the inviter's device and only ever travels sealed to yours. The six digits are how the two devices check that nobody sat in the middle. If they differ, do not confirm; ask for a new invitation.
